Day 360 (Day 5 of Trip)

Happy Birthday Ally. We thought of you today as we made tomato sauce like nobody's ever made tomato sauce before in there lives. What a process!!!

For Breakfast: Granola and Rice milk. Coffee.

We made sauce all day. First Cassi and I went out and picked any tomatoes that ripened up since Friday's picking. As we started scoring the tomatoes we realized we should probably count them because we had a feeling the number would be impressive. As it turns out we picked, scored, flash boiled, ice shocked, peeled, cored, sliced, seeded and pureed 550 tomatoes today!

Lou-E guarding the sauce as it cooled.

Sauce anyone?

For Lunch: Cassi and I split the last of the  Gullah rice. Chippies.

That night Angie  and John (Uncle Steve's brother) came over. While the guys watched football downstairs us girls chatted and munched.

For Dinner: Dry peppered salami sweet Lebanon bologna pickles, olives and crackers.

For Dessert: Champagne and chocolates. Delicious.
